THE BREAKOUT SERIES RETURNS AS BES ENTERS TEKKEN 8
Breakout Esports has spent the last 2 years working to create an environment where players from around the world can create a name for themselves and stand out from the rest of the pack. With the Breakout Series, this has always been the goal. We are proud to announce the return of the Breakout Series as we enter into the FGC!
The FGC Breakout Series is our newest initiative as we are starting to expand our reach to include more players and give them the chance to shine. Over the last three weeks we have had both insane and clutch sets within our first entry, TEKKEN 8. We wanted to bring both our high quality production and experience from other various scenes (FPS, FGC, MOBA) to showcase said talent. This is a weekly event with a starting prize pool of $25 for each event. Feel free to call your friends and prepare to box in the arena!
The format is relatively simple. Every week, players across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Central America will fight through an intense double elimination bracket to qualify for the top 8. We will then play through all following matches to determine our champion for that week. For now pools are restricted to a normal double elimination bracket, but over time as the player count increases, we will begin to introduce pools/groups into the mix. Our goal is to continue growing the scene within Breakout and eventually be able to host an event where players, both rising stars and the elite can fight it out for a larger prize pool. But for now, let grind it out in the arena!
Registration for each TEKKEN 8 event will open weekly on Fridays at 12pm EST. All links will be available on the Breakout Esports social channels! Check out the FAQ below for everything you need to know.

Q: How many open spots will there be for players looking to register?
A: There is no upper limit to how many competitors will be allowed to participate. So hop into the arena and prepare to box!
Q: How do I register for the event?
A: Once registration opens, you will have just under 6 days to register for the event. You can register for the event on Start.gg.
Q: What’s the event schedule?
A: Check-in opens at 6:00 p.m. ET. The starting time for the stream will start at 7:30 p.m. ET with the event starting at 8:00 p.m. ET.
